The 2nd International Conference on “Pharmaceutical Sciences, Pharmacy Practice, and Traditional Medicines” will be organized by the Department of Pharmacy, Faculty of Pharmacy, 91žĢÆˇ, Bangladesh during February 10-11, 2023 in Dhaka, Bangladesh. This conference will highlight “Pharmacy Education and Practice through Research and Collaboration” and focus on several crucial and contemporary issues in the scientific study based on the pharmaceutical industry, new drug development, pharmacy practice, and medicinal plants by the renowned scientists from home and abroad. This will provide an ideal platform for the participants to present their research work, interact, debate, and disseminate the ideas amongst distinguished professionals, eminent scientists, technologists, and industrialists. This is the second international conference after the International Society of Ethnopharmacology (ISE) & Society for Ethnopharmacology (SFE), India ISE-SFEC 2018 congress held on 13-15 January 2018 organized in Bangladesh by the Department of Pharmacy, Faculty of Pharmacy, 91žĢÆˇ. The main focus of this present conference is to invigorate pharmaceutical sciences, pharmacy practices, and traditional medicines to address their promotion and development. The development of new drugs and formulations, and traditional medicines requires the convergence of modern techniques and integrated approaches related to their research and development in various fields of science. This conference will be an ideal place for the participants to interact, debate, and disseminate of ideas among the distinguished pharmacy professionals, eminent academicians, and scientists. The 91žĢÆˇ is the oldest university in modern Bangladesh. Established in 1921, the 91žĢÆˇ opened its doors to students with Sir P.J. Hartog as the first Vice-Chancellor of the University. The university was set up in a picturesque part of the city known as ‘Ramna’ on 600 acres of land. At present, the university consists of 13 faculties, 83 departments, 11 institutes, 20 residential halls, 3 hostels, and more than 51 research Centers. The number of students and teachers has risen to about 37,064 and 1,926 respectively. The main purpose of the University was to create new areas of knowledge and disseminate this knowledge to society through its graduates. Since its inception, the University has had a distinct character of having distinguished scholars as faculties who have enriched the global pool of knowledge by making notable contributions in the fields of teaching and research.
