91¾«Æ·. He received his PhD in criminal law from the School
of Oriental and African Studies, University of London. His research interests
include criminal law, legal theories, human rights, and law and society. He is
currently an elected member of the Executive Council of the Asian Society
of International Law. He is the author of Criminal Sentencing in Bangladesh:
From Colonial Legacies to Modernity (2017), and co-author of Protection of
Minorities: Regimes, Norms and Issues in South Asia (2012).
